Veritran is a digital banking technology company. For their presence at Money 20/20 in Las Vegas USA, the largest fintech event in the world, their stand was built as three connected screens forming a U, with the walls of the space doubling as the display. I animated the content that ran across them, working with studio NK on art direction.
The shape of the space is what made this interesting. A stand on a trade floor is not a screening room: people approach from any direction, arrive at any point in the loop, and give you a few seconds before deciding whether to stop walking. With three walls surrounding the viewer, no single screen could be the front, so the motion had to carry across all of them without a fixed point of entry. Each section had to make sense on its own, since almost nobody sees the beginning.
Everything was animated in After Effects, with pacing tuned for a crowded floor: fast enough to catch the eye in passing, clear enough to land without audio.
Stand design and render by others. Included here as reference to show how the three screens were arranged.
Veritran Swift
A separate spot for Veritran, also with NK, covering their Swift integration for cross-border payments: what the platform does, who it serves, and how a transfer moves from start to confirmation.
Most of the work here was animating the app interface itself, simulated in After Effects: screens transitioning, fields populating, a transfer progressing through its states. UI animation has its own logic. It has to move the way software actually moves, or the whole thing reads as a mockup instead of a product, and it has to stay legible on a phone-sized screen while carrying fairly dense financial information.
